Futaleufu Partners

Susan co-founded Futaleufu Partners with long-time search investor/serial search fund entrepreneur David Dodson in 2015. Futaleufu was built to invest exclusively in search fund entrepreneurs, focusing on the “old school” search principles of mentorship and coaching. The team has since grown, but the old school approach remains the same, and working alongside search entrepreneurs to help them acquire and build great companies is Susan’s favorite part of her work. Susan currently serves as a board member for search acquired companies RMC, FSI, Belle Vie, Indigo Physiotherapy, Vitana Pediatric Dental Partners, and Alert Protective Services.

Susan started her career at JP Morgan selling equity derivative products, and later worked in the private equity and venture capital group at Stanford Management Company. She holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. She lives in San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, 3 boys, and dog.
