Join WSN Europe for a virtual coffee chat with Kudirat Olateju, a woman searcher who is finalizing her search fund raise in the UK. The session will be an open conversation with Kudirat about the dos and don’ts of fundraising, what she has learned along the way, and what the search fund market looks like right now. There will be time for attendees to ask their own questions.
The session is open to all of WSN Europe and will be especially relevant for aspiring searchers and those currently fundraising.
We strongly encourage attendees to join with their cameras on to keep the conversation interactive. The session will be recorded.
Speaker Bio: Kudirat Olateju, Managing Partner at Khalifah Capital Partners, a recently launched UK-based search fund, is a third-generation entrepreneur who has operated on both sides of the table: analysing investments at J.P. Morgan, T. Rowe Price and the IFC, and running small businesses including her residential hospitality portfolio and family firms. This combination of institutional downside protection and hands-on operational responsibility positions her to be a conservative underwriter of cash flows and a credible, long-term steward for a single UK SME. She earned her MBA from INSEAD, where she was awarded the Forté Fellowship for her commitment to advancing women in business. Prior to this, she graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours in Chemical Engineering (MEng) from Imperial College London, earning First Class Honours in Strategic Management. Kudirat is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate and ICMA Sustainable Bond Certificate. These credentials underpin her ability to assess financial risk, structure transactions, and navigate the capital markets required to finance and grow an SME. (FYI This is the bio Kudirat sent us)
